چکیده
Although nanozymes have been widely developed, directly utilizing light to drive catalytic reactions like natural photoenzymes still remains challenging. Herein, we propose that photonanozymes (PNZs), as a novel kind of nanozyme, exclusively possess enzyme-mimicking activity under illumination. Only in the presence visible light, as-synthesized TiO2 proposed this contribution shows excellent specificity peroxidase-like without any oxidase- or catalase-like activity. The driving force light-empowered photonanozymatic is explicated terms photogenerated hot charge carriers PNZs and accompanied reactive oxygen species. co-substrates for reaction over facilitate formation precarious peroxo-oxygen bridge between H2O2, enabling specificity. With PNZ-based biosensing platform visual glucose detection exemplifying concept application PNZs, work may evoke more inspirations explore strategies enlarging scope photoenzyme mimics.
